Starting her career in Adult Care
Mollie’s passion for health and social care is driving her towards an exciting future in the sector. Whilst working for Home Instead, providing support within peoples’ homes, she completed her Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 apprenticeship and is already preparing for her next big step, a Level 5 Leader in Adult Care apprenticeship.
Building Confidence and New Skills
Throughout the programme, Mollie worked hard to develop her skills and knowledge, gaining a deeper understanding of not only how care is delivered, but why certain practices are so important.
"I have become more confident and am aware of not just how things are carried out but why they are carried out in a certain way."
Support Throughout the Apprenticeship Journey
A key part of her success was the support she received from her Skills Coach, Ann.
"I found the course extremely knowledgeable. The support from my Skills Coach Ann was amazing and I couldn't have gotten through the course without it. While doing my EPA, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful with questions that I needed answering and allowed me to take the time to answer questions without feeling pressurised.”
Looking Ahead to Leadership in Care
Looking ahead, Mollie is focused on progressing into leadership roles within the care sector. Her Level 3 qualification has provided a strong foundation, and her ambition to continue learning demonstrates her commitment to delivering high-quality care and advancing her career.
Well done Mollie!
