eTraining is delighted to announce that it has once again successfully maintained its Matrix Standard accreditation, reaffirming its commitment to delivering high-quality Careers Education Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) that supports learners to make confident, informed decisions about their learning, careers and future progression.

‍

The Matrix Standard is the recognised quality framework for organisations delivering information, advice and guidance relating to learning and work. Following its recent Continuous Improvement Check, eTraining has maintained its accreditation, with the assessment recognising its continued commitment to quality, continuous improvement and effective learner support.

‍

Over the past 12 months, we have made significant developments to our CEIAG provision, particularly in three key areas:

‍

Strengthening careers guidance and progression

‍

We have introduced a comprehensive Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) Programme of Delivery, providing a structured approach to careers support throughout the learner journey and helping learners make informed decisions about their next steps and progression.

‍

Using data to measure learner impact

‍

The organisation has further developed its Power BI dashboards, bringing together learner performance, feedback, attendance, retention, achievement and progression data .Learner confidence, skills, motivation and career readiness are also captured at key stages, helping us understand the wider impact of our CEIAG.

‍

Providing more personalised support

‍

Learner reviews, Skills Coach observations, employer feedback and learner surveys are now combined with performance data to identify emerging risks earlier and target support more effectively. Wellbeing and signposting provision has also been strengthened, including a central Wellbeing and Signposting Toolkit and improved referral routes.

‍

The assessment recognised our progress in measuring the impact of guidance, strengthening stakeholder feedback, supporting staff capability, improving learner wellbeing and providing more consistent guidance around progression and next steps.

‍

Sharon Major, Director of Quality and Compliance at eTraining, said:

‍

“We are extremely proud to have maintained our Matrix Standard accreditation once again. This achievement reflects the dedication of our teams and our continued commitment to putting learners at the heart of what we do.
Over the past year, we have continued to invest in careers guidance, learner support and wellbeing, while making better use of data and learner feedback to understand the impact of the support we provide.
Maintaining the Matrix Standard provides further assurance to our learners, employers, partners and stakeholders that we remain committed to high standards, continuous improvement and supporting learners to make confident, informed decisions about their future.”

‍

As eTraining prepares for its full reaccreditation review in 2027, the organisation remains committed to further enhancing its Information, Advice and Guidance provision and ensuring every learner receives the support they need to realise their ambitions and succeed in learning and work.
