Information Communications Technician

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship (equivalent to two A Levels)
  • Duration: 18 months (plus 3 months for End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Start Dates: Monthly intakes available
  • Funding: 100% fully funded through the Government Apprenticeship Levy or Levy Transfer
  • Delivery: Blended learning (online study + face-to-face observations as needed)
  • Assessment: Ongoing evaluations, workplace observations, and final EPA

Role Overview

An Information Communications Technician (ICT) plays a vital role in supporting and maintaining IT systems to ensure the smooth operation of digital infrastructure across a range of organisations. This apprenticeship develops the technical skills and knowledge required to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, manage networks, and provide frontline support to users. Learners are prepared to work in diverse settings, such as schools, businesses, government departments, and IT service providers.
