Traineeships

Traineeships (19 – 24)

A Traineeship is a training programme designed to help young people who have little, or no work experience gain vital work skills in order to help them towards an Apprenticeship, a job or further education.

What it will give you:

  • Preparation for Life and Work Skills for the workplace.
  • A work placement with an employer. You will complete a minimum of 70 hours with an employer.
  • English and maths support, if you don’t already have them at GCSE grades 9-4 or equivalent.
  • Essential digital skills.
  • Support for you to take positive steps towards your work and personal goals.
  • Valuable work experience and additional skills build your CV.

eTraining have specialist knowledge in the Health and Social Care and Business Administration and Finance work sectors, but one of our Traineeship Programmes can prepare a young person for work in any work skills sector.
